Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

We want every collector to be able to use Cardexa, including people who rely on assistive technology. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time checkbox.

What we have built

• semantic HTML with meaningful headings and landmarks;
• labelled form controls with clear error messages;
• keyboard-operable menus, dialogs, tabs, and toggles;
• visible focus indicators on interactive elements;
• light and dark themes with contrast-checked color palettes;
• text alternatives for meaningful images.

Known limitations

Some parts of the site are still harder to use than we would like, and we are working on them:

• card-browsing pages are dense grids of images, which can be tedious to navigate with a screen reader;
• card artwork comes from third-party sources, so its alternative text is limited to the card’s name;
• some controls are still smaller than the 44-pixel touch target we are moving the interface toward;
• the sign-in bot check is provided by Cloudflare, and its behaviour is largely outside our control.

Compatibility

Cardexa targets current versions of the major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari) on desktop and mobile, used with recent screen readers and other assistive technology.
